Tyson Foods provides products and services to customers throughout the United States and more than 130 countries. We are dedicated to developing a best-in-class, value-added product portfolio that meets the needs of its customers and consumers. We are well positioned to provide the products people want, from the most basic cuts of meat to fully-prepared meals. Moreover, we are the only company selling chicken, beef, and pork through all major distribution channels including consumer products, foodservice, and international.
  • Sales by Distribution ChannelThe Tyson® brand is one of the most recognized brands in the United States retail channel, including all major grocery chains, wholesale club stores, super centers, regional chains, dollar stores, convenience stores, and drugstore chains. In addition to the Tyson brand, we have several other strong brands for bacon and deli meats businesses including Wright® Brand, Corn King®, Russer®, and Wilson™ brands.
  • Tyson Foods is the leading protein provider to all major national restaurant chains, including quick service, casual, mid-scale, and fine dining. We also supply the leading broad-line distributors and on-site foodservice venues, including hospitals, school cafeterias, and military commissaries.
  • We export protein to more than 130 countries and have in-country operations in Mexico, Brazil, China, and India. In addition to commodity exports, we have branded international products developed for the tastes and lifestyles of the local consumers.

In October 2011, Tyson Food Service was honored with the Protein Supplier of the Year award by Performance Foodservice, the nation’s third largest broad-line foodservice distribution company.
Best Sustainable
Supply

Arch Allies Logo In March 2012, McDonald’s Corporation named Tyson Foods a Best Sustainable Supply winner for environmental efforts that resulted in a 43-percent reduction in waste materials sent to community landfills.
Excellence in Sustainability
In May 2012, Tyson Foods received an Excellence in Sustainability award from Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., for a specific packaging change that reduced box size and, at the same time, added product weight. These changes led to eliminating not only raw materials, but also an impressive 2.1-million truck miles.
